At a Glance:900 weatherproof Sipo hardwood DOMINO loose tenons, 5 × 30mm, for strong outdoor joinery with the Festool DF 500 joining system.

The Festool DOMINO Sipo D 5×30/900 MAU loose tenons are premium-quality joining elements designed specifically for exterior woodworking applications. Manufactured from durable Sipo hardwood, these weather-resistant DOMINOs are naturally resistant to insects, fungal attack and moisture, making them the ideal choice for outdoor furniture, gates, windows, doors, pergolas, decking components and other exterior timber constructions.

The patented Festool DOMINO shape combines the advantages of traditional round dowels and flat biscuits. Its elongated profile provides exceptional resistance against twisting while offering significantly greater glue surface area, resulting in remarkably strong and accurate joints. Special glue pockets and longitudinal grooves distribute adhesive evenly while allowing excess glue to escape during assembly for consistently reliable bonding.

Each DOMINO is precision manufactured to ensure an exact fit in mortises produced by the Festool DF 500, DF 500 R and DFC 500 joining machines. The embossed size markings make identification quick and easy, while the accurately machined guide ribs automatically centre the tenon within the mortise for fast, precise assembly.

Weatherproof DOMINO joints built to last

Sipo is a naturally durable hardwood ideally suited for outdoor environments. Combined with the unique Festool DOMINO geometry, these loose tenons produce exceptionally strong, rotation-resistant joints that withstand demanding exterior conditions while maintaining precise alignment during glue-up.
