The screw head can be positioned flush with the surface, recessed into the material or left projecting by a controlled amount. An integrated claw coupling disengages the drive when the selected depth is reached, helping ensure uniform results across large-scale screwdriving applications. Two replaceable stop sleeves with rubberised protective rings are included, making the attachment particularly suitable for façade work, decking and screws fitted with sealing washers where both consistent depth and protection of the surrounding surface are essential.

The DC UNI FF combines fine 0.1mm depth adjustment with Festool’s quick-change FastFix system. Once the required setting has been established, screws can be installed rapidly and consistently while the rubberised stop sleeve rests securely against the workpiece without slipping or leaving unwanted impressions.
