The Festool CT-VA-20 CT pre-separator is a smart dust extraction accessory designed for work that produces high volumes of dust, shavings and chips. Using cyclone technology, it separates a large portion of dust and debris before it reaches the mobile dust extractor. This helps reduce load on the main filter, keeps suction performance more consistent and makes disposal of large dust volumes easier. It is ideal for sawing, routing, planing, diamond grinding, renovation milling and other demanding dust-heavy applications.

Cyclone pre-separation for cleaner, more consistent extraction

The CT-VA-20 is designed to sit between the power tool and the Festool CT extractor. Dust and chips enter the pre-separator first, where cyclone separation collects much of the material in the container before it reaches the extractor filter bag. That means better suction consistency, less filter clogging and easier handling when large amounts of dust are produced.
