Classical Cove Router Bit

At a glance:
½” Ø Shank router bit with a 7,9 mm (5/16″) radius to profile a classical cove shape in wood.
Application:
This router bit is used with a plunge router to profile the edge of wood to produce a concave edge that is flanked by two fillets and has a 7,9 mm (5/16″) radius.
Definition:Similar to the standard cove but flanked by step fillets. This profile is found in older period furniture. It is popular for the way shadows are displays to attract attention to the profile. Can be used in a router table or hand-held router Mostly applied as a decorative profile.
